The styleranking FashionBloggerCafé shoedition III
Who better to celebrate that love of shoes than more than 160 fashion-loving bloggers? Which is why the FashionBloggerCafé shoedition by online fashion magazine styleranking now went into its third edition at GDS. Alongside rising visitor numbers the entertainment options at the event multiplied as did the talk about bloggers’ undisputed know-how.
The event kicked off in spectacular style: with the indispensable Blogger Runway Show. Here the five renowned fashion bloggers presented the GDS audience with five different catwalk looks featuring the it-pieces of their partner labels.
This July GDS’ current testimonial blogger Nina Schwichtenberg from the Fashiioncarpet blog created the looks complementing the shoe creations of Espardij l’originale, Jennifer Schleich from J’estil staged key pieces from Clarks, Tina Carrot from Amour de Soi brought Ara to the runway, Janina Pfau from Love and Urban represented the Gant brand while Jennifer Krüger from Love it and move on developed her look centring on shoe styles of Softclox.
A packed audience around the Blogger Runway Show spoke for itself giving the bloggers booming applause. Following this Düsseldorf bloggers Katharina Bansemer and Constance Louisa Simon from The Fancy Lifestyle interviewed the fashion show participants before the bloggers and show guests all went over to FashionBloggerCafé shoedition.
Awaiting bloggers at the stand this July was a genuine bull-riding contest at Buffalo, a high-heeled dance contest at Bugatti, the chance to design your own shoes at Collonil, an exciting “shoefie” contest at Rockport and the opportunity to create your own holiday snap collage at the Gillette Venus shooting stand.
Before the event wound down with drinks and small talk amongst the bloggers styleranking Managing Director Roland Schweins presented the results of the second half of the styleranking survey on the monetarisation of fashion blogs: the blogger guests at the FashionBloggerCafé shoedition joined together to find out the average price of a paid blog post and how many bloggers are really able to live off their blogs. The survey results were underscored with many other facts from the blogosphere.
The verdict for the FashionBloggerCafé shoedition in July 2015: a fantastic Blogger Runway Show, spectacular entertainment at the sponsors’ stands and informative networking both amongst the bloggers themselves and in combination with the bloggers’ survey.
Awaiting us at the coming GDS is the next FashionBloggerCafé shoedition. Until then we say: Let’s blog!
